Paul and his friend Silas decided to travel to tell more people about Jesus. They wanted to go to a land called Asia, but something amazing happened. God's Holy Spirit guided them in a different direction.

One night, Paul had a special dream. He saw a man from a distant place called Macedonia, who pleaded: "Come over to Macedonia and help us!". Paul understood right away that it was God calling them, and they obeyed, changing the direction of their journey.
